More info to come in the very near future but here is a summary of my summer.
June 2011 - Collin and I took a trip to GA to visit Nana and B-pa for 10 days. Let's just say that 10 days is way too long to spend without the daddy figure in the picture.
July 2011 - Appx. two weeks after Collin and I returned home from GA, Chris and I went on a mission trip to Idaho. So much fun! Beautiful views, AWESOME cool weather, and amazing people! The church spent about a week there and then headed down to Colorado for a few nights in the Rockies. Unfortunately, as we were driving to ID, Chris and I got a phone call informing us of the death of our old boss. He wasn't old, he was just a former boss. A great man and friend.
When we returned to OK from our two week mission trip/vacation, I recieved a phone call from my mom that my grandfather was in bad shape and I probably needed to be prepared for the worst. About a week after I was home, I got the call at 4:45 am on July 26 that Grampy was no longer with us. Amazingly, I was packed and ready for my flight that very afternoon. It was very challenging time for all of us, but my heart is mostly heavy for my Grammy who is now living alone.
I am now home and things are still quite busy. I have much to share but have to save it for another time.
